HOP®  CLAMPS

The HOP®  range of worm-drive hose clamps offers high clamping force for small diameters.            

 Two versions are available (W2 and W4) for automotive, aerospace, industrial, naval applications,… 

They stand out by:

• Their excellent efficiency, thus ensuring good tightness at a relatively low torque.

• A very flexible band thanks to its minimal thickness

• Compatibility with NFE 27581 / DIN 3017 standards

• A band with rounded edges preventing any damage to the hose • Recommended screwing speed: 300 rpm (max. 500 rpm)

HOP 5M HOP ® 

5M The HOP® 5M range is very popular for its  clamping capabilities on very small diameters. The HOP® 5M clamp has a full rack and a band with smooth inner face, which increases  efficiency without risk of damaging the hose.

CAILLAU offers different solutions for joining of the plastic quick connectors with the hoses (swaged rings, CLIC®  E, VISA® , CLIC®  R, …)

HOP®  CONNECTORS

• Available references: diameters 8, 16, 18, 20 and 35mm (diameter of the pipe-end to be connected) in straight or offset (90° - 120°) versions

• Fitting force below 140 N

• Removal force below 100 N

• Pull-off force over 600 N

• Withstand pressures up to 15 bar

VDA CONNECTORS

• Available references: diameter 22.3 and diameter 38.5 in straight or offset [90° - 120 - 135°] versions

• Fitting force below 140 N

• Removal force below 100 N

• Pull-off force over 2 000 N

• Withstand pressures up to 20 bar

• O-ring retained by a feature molded in the body (secure retention of the O-ring)

• Body and pipe-end can be interchanged (connector consisting of 2 welded parts)

• Body / pipe-end can be indexed in rotation: in order to ease implementation in vehicle

• Secure locking but easy removal without tools (pulling or pushing the lock)

• Lock is non-detachable and returns automatically to its default closed position(Failsafe to prevent loose assembly)

• For air intake applications, body / pipe-end can be pro

vided in PA6.6, PPA, PA4.6, according to thermal constraints.
